I LOVE my Rebok Flex running shoes.  They are totally pink and totally me.  The only problem I have is that as wonderful as they are after a full day in them my feet do start to hurt so when Influenster offered me a chance to try out the Dr. Scholl's Active Series I was thrilled.  I tore open the box like a kid on Christmas and slipped them into my Flexs.  I spent an entire day running erronds and play with the kids and I noticed a HUGE difference.  Not just a difference in the fact that my feet didn't hurt but also my back felt so much better.  I didn't have near as much lower back pain as I normally do after a day of shopping and running around.  These are a must have for any athleat or mom.  I am hooked!

Q-tips® Precision Tips

I received 2 small boxes of Q-tips Precision Tips from Influenster in my Something Blue Voxbox and I absolutely love them.  I love to do very intricate eye make up and these firm Q-Tips are perfect for perfecting my eyeliner and mascara.  I would highly recommend these to any make up lover.

First Dance: Dr. Scholl's Ball of Foot

I received Dr. Scholl's Ball of Foot inserts in my Something Blue

VoxBox from Influenster.  When I first opened the box and found these I was SO excited! I LOVE shoes and could not wait to try these in my favorite high heels.  
At the beginning of the evening I was very comfortable and thrilled that I had these.  After about 4 hours I noticed that my feet were hurting quite a bit, almost as bad as if I were not wearing them at all.  Over all I guess they will work if you on not planning to be on your feet none stop but if you are going dancing you might consider bringing some flats to change into :-).

Pros: They stay in place and help a little.

Cons: The relief doesn't last.

EOS Lip Balm Balls

EOS is Yummy looking and feeling!

EOS Lip Balm is so wonderful. I have the pink and green and can't seem to get enough of them. I find myself reapplying the lip balm before I even need to just because I love them so much. It has an odd shape making it hard to carry it when you don't have a purse.

Tips

Buy them in bulk when they are on sale.

Forever 21 - Great for filling holes in your wardrobe.

Forever 21 has great prices for essential pieces to fill your wardrobe.  You will want to be careful about buying items that you will need for an essential part of your daily wear because they don't tend to last very long if you wear and wash them frequently.  Otherwise they are wonderful.  I have bought many many great fashion accessories and foundation items.
 

The jewelry is very cute but DON'T GET IT WET.

Candle Worx

 

There seems to be a large number of candle companies getting into the "cracker jack" type of surprise game.   One of these companies is Candle Worx.

My yummy Birthday Cake candle.

I was lucky enough to receive one of these amazing candles for testing and review purposes.  I picked the Birthday Cake candle and a size 7 ring as my prize inside and impatiently awaited its 3 day travel from the Candle Worx company.  Well after the short wait the candle arrived at my door wrapped up in bubble wrap.  I tore into the box to find a beautiful soy jar candle.  I lit it right away and within 10 minutes my whole livingroom and kitchen smell like freshly baked birthday cake.  It is really wonderful to have that smell without the calories ;-)

Anyway, as soon as the candle burns far enough for the prize to be plucked I will post a reveal video.  And stay tuned to see how the Candle Worx candle stacks up to the other brands on the market.

Update! The candle finally burned enough to find the prize inside.  I have to say that I am a little disappointed that it has to burn so far down before your find your treasure.  It has to burn at least a 4th of the way down :-(.  Its like finding the toy in the serial taped to the bottom of the bag of cereal.

 I am however not disappointed in the prize I found inside.  It turned out to

be a very cute .925 sterling silver linked heart ring.  The ring is a good weight and very pretty. 

Positive's are that it smells so good you want to eat it.  It's pretty so you don't mind having it on your coffee table.  The jewelry is good quality and fashionable un-linke some other products are offering.  The only negative I see is that you have to wait so long to find your goodie.

I give this candle company an A- overall.  Check them out for yourself and let me know what you think.

Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale

Bath & Body Works has to GREAT sales a year, one in January and one in June.  These two sales are the perfect opportunity to stock up on everything you need for the next 6 months until the next sale.

The next Sale starts in store on June 12, 2013.  Make sure that you go early because they don't really do too much restocking.  If you go on the first day, there are usually multiple bins with things 75% off in it. These go fast, but as the sale ends, the items in the 50% off bins will go to 75% off. I have seen some small items go down to 90% off! At this sale, you can still use your survey coupons and regular coupons!  Coupon Grace Period: As said in their coupon policy, Bath & Body Works’ coupons are good 3 days before and after their expiration dates. Usually you can use an expired coupon right as the semi-annual sale starts!

Schwarzkopf Dust It Texture Powder

 

I tried Schwarzkopf Dust It Texture Powder for the first time recently and I was not as impressed I thought I was going to be.  Don't get me wrong it's a pretty good product but I am not too sure it is worth the price or the fuss.  It does do what it promises however it does not do that much more than cheaper products.  If you are a huge fan of this product line than it is worth the money if your aren't than you maybe better off going with a slightly more inexpensive brand.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel

I recently tried Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.  When I first applied it I wasn't sure if I really liked it because it was cold and kind of gooey feeling but after a minute or so it dried and I didn't even notice it was there.  As the day progressed I stayed dry and fresh and there was no residue on my pretty clothes.  All and all I would say that this is a pretty good product and worth a try.

NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm

I love this Glossy Lip Balm.  This is a really great product.  I am extremely pleased by the appearance & condition of my lips during and after using NYC Glossy Lip Balm.  I adore the fragrance and texture.  

Impress Nails by Broadway Nails

I received a package of Impress Nails by Broadway Nails in my Spring Fling VoxBox from Influenster for testing purposes.  This brand boasts that the nails will last up to 7 days.

The package came with Nicole Scherzinger Signature Series zebra print nails 8 with purple flowers, 8 with pink flowers & 8 with orange flowers.  My first impression was wow these are really cute then my 2nd impression was, "WHAT THE HECK?" There is not a complete set (10 nails) that match in the box.

At 1pm I applied a few of each color, making a unique design, and they looked very cute as you can see from the picture.

At about 5pm the same day they started to pop off starting with the pinkie nails and by 8pm they were almost all gone.  I am a full time student and was at home all day going about my normal day.  It's safe to say that I don't do anything that requires hard labor that would break natural nails or salon applied nails.  

I have to say that I am completely disappointed in this product and would NOT recommend anybody buy these as they are no better than any other cheap press on nails you can buy at the $1 store they are just more expensive.  I would just bite the bullet and have salon nails put on and save the head ache.

 

Dickinson's® Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes

I have used these wipes at different times during the day and seem to have the same results.  

They do reduce the amount of oil on your skin but I am not crazy about the smell at all.  Also, the results do not seem to last very long.  If you are headed to the store after tanning or going to the gym and want to freshen up then they do the job but using them in the morning for your day is not too practical.

Two of my favorite things in 1 great product!  I LOVE make up and I   
love all things organic so combining the two you just can't go wrong.  I love the fact that it doesn't feel heavy or have a strong chemical smell.  My skin feels so great when I take it off at night.  It's wonderful!
 

Colgate Optic White

I really enjoy this dental care line.  Collection contains Colgate Optic White toothpaste which whitens teeth in 1 week, a toothbrush with whitening cups and polishing bristles, and new Optic White mouthwash which protects against future stains.  The toothpaste, toothbrush, and mouth wash leave you feeling like you just came from the dentist.  It promises you whiter teeth in just 7 days and I do believe it delivers on those promises.

When you use the toothbrush it is comfortable to hold and is able to reach far to the back of your teeth and in between them.  All in all it is a great product.
Colgate Optic White Toothpaste
This is a very intense brushing experience the first time you use it.  It foams a lot and has a very strong flavor if you are not expecting it.  But on the positive side the results are wonderful and make you excited to brush.
Colgate Optic White Mouthwash
As with the toothpaste the Colgate Optic White mouthwash is very intense.  The powerful taste will definitely hit you hard and wake you up in the morning.  Also, like the toothpaste the after results are wonderful.
All in all it is a great line of products and worth the price.

Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture, priced at $7.99 for 6.5 oz. can.

This is a wonderful product for those of us that are always on the go an need an instant moisturizer but don't have time to wait for it to dry.  i use this product at the gym after showering and tanning and just love how it is not greasy but still does a great job with dry skin.  I would highly recommend this product for men, women, & children.
